I love how you were able to take the reading and look at how it applies to your own teaching right now. That is so incredible. I love that you used a comic strip with pictures to help teach your students about a complex subject such as the American Revolution. The best part is how you saw an increase in comprehension once the comic strip was used.

I have been saying lately that just because a classroom looks nice does not mean that the classroom runs well. like you mentioned, "Fatal Assumption #1: A room containing 15 employees and an "instructor" at the front means something productive called "training" is going on..." This idea that aesthetics or how something looks decides whether or not it is valuable is not a good way to judge things.
